Qatar today stands as a perfect example of a country synonymous to the idea of leading a lavish yet successful professional life. Right from the best kind of destinations like Doha, with ample opportunities to witness a perfect blend of the East-West cultures, there's not much that hasn't been said about this exotic nation already.

However, of late, the proliferating economy moving ahead on the lines of immense growth prospects, has gained immense limelight in the country and the petroleum sector is one such case to consider. Known to the backbone of Qatari economy, the oil and gas sector has also proven instrumental in alleviating the country's dependence on itself only, which is quite clear by the fact that Qatar produces 850,000 barrels of crude oil per day!

Since 1974, the affairs pertaining to the industry have been handled by Qatar petroleum. This inlcudes managing the massively growing onshore fields like Maydan Mahzam, Al Bunduk, Al Shaheen and offshore ones like Tabakat.

The Dolphin Gas Project

Goes without saying that the sector is blossoming with numerous employment avenues for a skilled individual to suit himself. However, the sector has been gaining prominence due to the collaboration projects it works in, with other Gulf countries. Presently, it has been the Dolphin Gas Project.

Witnessing collated effort from countries like the UAE, Qatar and Oman, it has majorly uplifted the prospects of an exponential growth of petroleum industry in the State of Qatar. Catering to the installation and growth of gas wells and platforms in the country's famous North field, the project has been nothing less than a harbinger of joy for those who craved a higher efficiency and more technical advancements in the sector.

Be it the gas processing and compression plant at Ras Lafaan or various gas receiving facilities at Taweelah, no denying the fact that Qatar petroleum has seen a completely new era for the inhabitants to enjoy the products and services in a highly efficacious way.

Quite conspicuous that Qatar has every bit of chance to grow beyond confines in the petroleum sector. It all depends on you to gain the right perspective and make a pick to be in the most productive economic sphere.
