According to the World Bank, Brazil has a GDP of US$ 2,253 billion in 2013 (increasing annually at a rate of 0.9%), which works out at US$ 11,340 per capita. Inflation is 5.4% in terms of the consumer price index (CPI) and 5.3% in terms of the GDP deflator.
