HealthcareThe CIA World Factbook reveals that Canada has 2.069 physicians and 3.2 hospital beds per 1,000 people, and the average Canadian person has a life expectancy of 81.57 years (78.98 for men & 84.31 for women). The OECD states that 8.1% of Canada's GDP is spent on public health, with a further 3.3% of GDP spent on private health.
