Social and Cultural Traits in China

Social Confucianism was the official philosophy throughout most of Imperial China's history, covering around 2,500 years. China is a very diverse country, with 56 recognized ethnic groups, and many more regional sub-groups with distinct linguistic and cultural traditions.
