Financial ConsiderationsThe World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report places Saudi Arabia in 20th place in terms of its ability to provide high levels of prosperity to citizens. According to the World Bank, Saudi Arabia had a GDP of US$ 745 billion in 2013 (growing annually at a rate of 3.8%), which works out at US$ 25,852 per capita. Inflation was 3.5% in terms of the consumer price index (CPI) and -2.2% in terms of the GDP deflator.
