Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing great on this lovely summer day.

I have been working in England for two months, and was looking to join a doctor surgery. Is there anything I need to know about this, bearing in mind I am a German national.

EU citizens have the same right to free medical treatment as UK residents. All that is needed is proof of address (utility bill, driving licence, payslip, etc). Proof of EU citizenship is not normally requested, but it's probably wise to bring along your passport just in case it is.

Hi there, I had very similar inquiries when I moved to London. But actually I believe that every EU citizen is eligible to free medical care. All you need to do is bring along your citizenship documents and passport.
