Jersey Simplifies Tax Compliance For Expats

By Fiona Moore, for Expatbriefing.com
14 June, 2016

Jersey residents leaving the island for three months or more can now complete a single online form to ensure the Taxes Office and other relevant departments are informed.

The online leavers form will notify the Taxes Office; Social Security (including the Population Office); Health and Social Services; Education; GPs; and the last parish in which the person resided.

Previously anyone moving away from Jersey for three months or more (excluding students in full-time education) would have needed to contact the Taxes Office and other departments separately.
