MSH International, a leading expatriate insurance provider, has partnered with Alptis group, the second-largest health insurance broker in France, to offer two new healthcare insurance products aimed at French expatriates.
The two products are: First'Expat+ and Relais'Expat+, to be offered to working expatriates, depending on their circumstances: - First'Expat+ for reimbursements from the 1st euro - Relais'Expat+ for reimbursements as a supplement to benefits from the CFE (Caisse des Français à l'Etranger), which is a social security support for French expats abroad.
The insurance is designed to help expatriates faced with high healthcare costs in other countries. They pointed out, for example, that a typical consultation with a general practitioner in the United States often exceeds USD200.
MSH International and Alptis say the partnership is in recognition of strong growth in the French market, with 100,000 French citizens emigrating each year. In France, 34 percent of 18-34 year-olds are considering a move abroad over the next 5 to 10 years.
