Property Investment Event Reports Interest In US Properties

The organizers of a property investment show that took place earlier this month in London have said that reports from exhibitors suggest that American property attracted particular attention.

The observation was made by Nick Clark, the Managing Director of Property Investor Media. He added that the Property Investment Show at the ExCel Center in London, which also attracted potential buyers of second properties in the UK, was "a very positive two days for both the industry and the UK's longest running property investment event." He said there was a 7 percent year-on-year increase in visitor numbers, and that seminar attendees were at their highest level since 2008.

One exhibitor, Knight Knox, reported that ocean-viewing properties available in locations such as Bang Saray in Thailand and at the Enclave in St Petersburg, Florida, were "well received" by investors. The firm described the show as "one of the most important exhibitions in Knight Knox International's calendar," with "scores" of serious investors.

Clark added that there was also interest in investing in compliant hotel resorts through Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs).
